From City Lot to Country Acres. It's been almost 4 years since I moved from the city to a rural existence. Most days, I love our country life, but every once in awhile, I need a hazelnut coffee from Panera, which necessitates a trip to the city. Ugh.

Susan, I am so sorry for you. It wasn't just a bird,it was a living being. And I hope that it found some sort of relief by being with you for whatever short time it had.
I'm here catching up. I'm so sorry to read that you lost the little keet. I'm sure it did break your heart to have the little one die. How could you not get attached to those little cuties. Your heart is as big as Oz Land. I hope you feel it healing.

No matter what animal it is, when we care for them, it's natural to feel sad. Please, don't apologize...it's clear you have a tender heart.

ReplyDeleteDon't apologize! We all understand-A loss is a loss, no matter what it is.
Hopefully the grieving process isn't too rough on you :(
