I am so sorry

I have spent most of my evening holding my two little runty keets.  One of them just died in my hands.

At this time I just can't do the Lehman's drawing, but I promise I will draw the winners by the weekend.

I know it's pretty silly.  It's just a bird.  But I think the tears are for more than just a bird.

I apologize,  I truly do.

  1. Susan, I am so sorry for you. It wasn't just a bird,it was a living being. And I hope that it found some sort of relief by being with you for whatever short time it had.

    It's hard when anything dies....so sorry.

  8. I'm here catching up. I'm so sorry to read that you lost the little keet. I'm sure it did break your heart to have the little one die. How could you not get attached to those little cuties. Your heart is as big as Oz Land. I hope you feel it healing.
